The Club

Membership is limited to fewer than 10 committed fly fishermen. When a reservation is made, it is just you and a mile of trophy trout stream. Guests accompanying members are also welcome.  We use barbless hooks and all fish are carefully netted and released.  We offer some of the most challenging catch & release fly fishing anywhere; therefore an instructor, with over 45 years of experience, is always available to assist.

Our outstanding water quality allows for the extreme abundance and diversity of aquatic invertebrates.  In addition, we  maintain portions of the stream-bed suitable for spawning grounds where trout construct their redds.  The riparian zones are guarded  and the stream is well-maintained to the quality Cato would expect. The owner/manager lives on property and employs various security measures to ensure the protection of the natural resources.  With careful management and protection, habitat improvements, and the proper catch and release techniques implemented by our anglers, we have living proof that WILD TROUT are capable of growing up to 10 pounds and more in our mountain stream.
