Cato Holler, an original T.U. co-founder and lifetime sportsman, established Armstrong Fly Casters on May 26, 1944. He was a leader in conservation and laid the groundwork for the creation of the model trout stream.

To honor his grandfather's legacy, Chris Holler puts his training in Fish and Wildlife management to use on their sanctuary. Over 75 years of protection and careful management have produced a world-class trout stream right here in western North-Carolina.
